If you use mobile deposit, you should be aware of some recent changes to the way you're required to endorse your check. As part of a new regulation, you are now required to endorse your check with "For mobile deposit only", along with your signature.
At SafeAmerica Credit Union, we take your security seriously. This new requirement will protect you, as well as us, from any fraudulent activity.
Mobile Deposit allows you to take a photo of your check to make a deposit from anywhere.
Here's how:
- Login to the SafeAmerica Credit Union mobile app
- Select the red circle icon at the bottom, then choose Deposit Check
- Select the account you want to deposit to
- Take a photo of the front of your paper check
- Take a photo of the back of your endorsed paper check (be sure to include "For mobile deposit only")
- Verify or enter the amount
- Submit
That's all! You'll receive an email notification that your deposit has been accepted. Our app turns your mobile device into a convenient wallet that puts your accounts in reach.
